Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado

Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Spoon

  1. Remove the pit

    Slice a full and ripe avocado in half. Twist apart the two halves. Then remove the pit.

  2. Remove all of the flesh

    Avocado half without the skin

    Using a spoon, gently remove all of the flesh from one side the half avocado. Try your best to remove it in its complete original form. It should look as though the skin as been removed.

  3. Slice the avocado long ways

    Using a sharp knife slice the avocado long ways. It’s best when each slice is about the same width.

  4. Push the avocado slices into a long line

    Using your hands and fingers, begin to gently push the avocado slices into a long line.

  5. Curl the first slices inward

    Once the avocado slices have been expanded, begin to curl the first avocado piece inwards, swords the rest of the avocado slices.

  6. Form into the rose

    Continue curling until a beautiful avocado flower has formed
